Return & Refund Policy – Imara Work Wear
Imara Work Wear supplies professional safety equipment and PPE. Due to the nature of these products, we apply a strict but fair return policy to protect customer safety and comply with hygiene standards.
Returns
We only accept returns for defective, damaged, or incorrect items.
Returns must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
A return may be approved if the item:
- Was damaged during delivery
- Has a manufacturing defect
- Was incorrectly supplied by us
PPE & Hygiene Notice
For safety and hygiene reasons, PPE items cannot be returned if they have been used, worn, opened, or tampered with, unless confirmed to be defective.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Helmets
- Gloves
- Safety shoes
- Masks and respirators
- Goggles and protective eyewear
Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return unless defective:
- Used or worn items
- PPE items opened after delivery
- Customized, branded, or embroidered products
- Clearance or promotional items
Exchanges
Exchanges are only available for defective items and are subject to stock availability.
We do not offer size, color, or preference-based exchanges.
Reporting a Return
To request a return, contact us within 7 days and provide:
- Order number or proof of purchase
- Clear photos or videos of the defect

Return Shipping
If the return is approved due to a defect or our error, Imara Work Wear covers return shipping costs.
Refunds
Approved refunds are processed within 7–14 working days via the original payment method (M-PESA, cash, or bank).
